 nt BACKGROUND Over the past decade\, Machakos County has made notable stri
 des in economic and social development. However\, persistent challenges su
 ch as poverty\, food insecurity\, water scarcity\, limited healthcare acce
 ss\, and the impacts of climate change continue to hinder progress. Addres
 sing these issues requires a collective effort\, and Civil Society Organiz
 ations (CSOs)\, non-profits\, and the private sector have emerged as key p
 layers in driving community-led solutions and complementing government int
 erventions. These actors have been instrumental in bridging gaps and foste
 ring development across critical sectors. Lack of coordination among organ
 izations and private sector entities can lead to competition for resources
 \, and limited knowledge sharing. These barriers can slow down the pace of
  sustainable development in the region. Recognizing the urgent need for co
 llaboration\, robust partnerships\, knowledge exchange\, and capacity buil
 ding\, the Machakos County Government is collaborating with Sustainable Af
 rica Innovators (SUS-AFRIC) www.sus-afric.org to convene a multi-stakehold
 er roundtable. This one-day event\, themed "Advancing the SDGs: Partnershi
 ps for Impact and Development in Machakos County: “will bring together k
 ey actors from various sectors working in Machakos County. The conference 
 aims to foster partnerships for sustainable development\, share best pract
 ices\, and align efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It
  will also strengthen the role of CSOs and non-profits in addressing devel
 opment challenges through transparent and accountable collaboration with t
 he county government. The conference will feature\, keynote speeches and p
 anel discussions by industry experts and successful entrepreneurs. Interac
 tive workshops and networking sessions will provide practical pathways to
